Indeed, it is a great privilege to be a part of SASTRA, a renowned institution in India. I am witnessing the growth and achievement of SASTRA for the past 18 years and it is a truly amazing experience!!! I am proud to lead a team of highly experienced and enthusiastic faculty members at the School of Management which is marching towards a historical milestone of celebrating its Silver Jubilee in 2023 with a proud accomplishment of providing patriotic, vibrant, and knowledgeable managers to the country.
Among several other schools of SASTRA, the School of Management has a unique feature of accommodating well-experienced faculty members. The average experience of our faculty members is 22 years, and 90% of them are conferred with Ph.D. The active involvement of our faculty in research and extension activities enhances efficiency which translates into a better learning experience for the students. Various Functional Clubs, Annual Seminars, International Conferences, Knowledge Lecturesby Corporate Leaders, National Level Inter-Collegiate Meets, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, etc., constitute the ideal learning environment and encouragement for the holistic development of the students.
We offer MBA with dual specializations (Marketing, HR, Finance, Banking & Operations), Two UG programmes with Honours - B.Com (Computer Applications) & B.Com (Banking Financial Services and Insurance) and Ph.D. Ten full-time scholars are pursuing their doctoral research in different domains of management. MBA dual-specialisation helps students to secure quality placements in reputed firms. State of the art classrooms and auditorium, library facilities with huge collections of books, journals, and research reports both in physical and digital form provide good support to students and research scholars to widen their knowledge cape.
Different teaching pedagogies like case-study methodology, flipped classroom, blended learning, seminars, debates, group discussions, quizzes, simulations, etc. make learning interesting and learner-centric at SASTRA for the students.
